Margo Jefferson is a Pulitzer Prize-winning cultural critic and the author of Negroland: A Memoir, and On Michael Jackson. Negrolandreceived the 2015 National Book Critics Circle Award for Autobiography, the Bridge Prize, and the Heartland Prize, and was shortlisted for the Baillie Gifford Prize. She teaches in the Writing Program at Columbia University.
