About JLF Colorado

JLF Colorado is back for its 10th edition!

Prepare for an exhilarating journey into the world of literature, as JLF Colorado returns with more than 50 incredible speakers. Join us from September 14 to 15 in Boulder, Colorado, to experience the vibrant energy of the Jaipur Literature Festival, famously hailed as "the greatest literary show on Earth" by Tina Brown.

Our Mission: JLF Colorado’s mission is to support and promote literature in all its forms and ensure equitable access to a diverse mix of world-class authors, poets, writers, artists, thinkers, filmmakers, humanitarians, politicians, business leaders, sports figures and entertainers. These stars champion freedom of expression, engaging in thoughtful debate and dialogue that will captivate your heart and mind. Their expertise and passion will span topics from international, and North American to regional issues.

Each year we craft and curate equitable platforms for dialogue and create safe environs for writers and artists to express themselves. These fundamental precepts are vital for sustaining progressive societies and are at the core of democracy.

Join Us: On September 14 & 15 at the Boulder Public Library, this cultural caravan will engage in riveting  and insightful discussions about important topics in one of the world’s most beautiful and inspiring locations.

Our commitment: We have a strong commitment to partnerships and together with the Boulder Public Library and in conjunction with our supportive donors and our sponsors, JLF Colorado creates a free-to-attend festival of ideas, imagination, innovation, and inspiration for our audience and attendees.

Inspired by a visit to the Jaipur Literature Festival in Jaipur, India, JLF Colorado brings the spirit of this amazing festival to life in Boulder.

Now in our 10th year, our vision is to build JLF Colorado’s status to one of the leading international literature festivals in North America.

Why invest in JLF Colorado? We aim to expand the footprint of literature to incorporate all written expression with excellence as its standard and to foster a self-sustaining festival that builds a vibrant community to expand our impact. When you invest in JLF Colorado you are investing in outreach, access, and connection to the written word. These touchpoints have a profound and positive impact on our communities. As a registered non-profit 501(c) 3 organization, all gifts are tax deductible.

Experience the Transformation:  Our festival is a personally transformative event that must be experienced. Come for one session or stay for as many sessions as you can - but be prepared to be transformed when you leave!

Literature and the arts open a window to other worlds and allow us to appreciate and understand different cultures, histories, traditions, economies, and ways of life, pushing back against hatred and the fear of the unknown.

Join us and help shape the future!

Through its digital avatar, the Jaipur Literature Festival reached over 27 million viewers in January 2021 and brought together the world’s leading commentators and writers. Amidst the pandemic, Teamwork Arts also created ‘Art Matters’ - an initiative empowering artistes across India to collaborate across genres by commissioning them to create new works. It has since then raised awareness, actioned change, developed support channels and inspired the community to contribute to the cause in various direct and indirect ways. The  digital series ‘Be Inspired’ was launched in 2021 – a series that crystal-gazes into the future with conversations on science, technology, innovation, environment and more.
