Dorje Dolma(2018)
Dorje Dolma’s birthplace—Dolpo, Nepal—had no running water, electricity, cars, schools, or doctors. At the age of ten, Dolma and her parents walked for a month to save her life. Dolma has a Fine Arts degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She is a teacher, an artist, and the author of Yak Girl: Growing Up in the Remote Dolpo Region of Nepal.
