Von Disco is a local power trio blending hip hop, neo-soul, and jam band genres. Jesse Hunter plays the guitar and is out front rhyming and crooning, Tyson Bennett sits on the keys and synth bass, and Alex Armstrong delivers a deep groove on the drum kit. The trio performs original music, improvises with poets, and supports dancers of many styles.
