Jason Neelis, Associate Professor, Wilfrid Laurier University, is the author of Early Buddhist Transmission and Trade Networks: Mobility and Exchange Within and Beyond the Northwestern Borderlands of South Asia. He directs research projects on Buddhist birth stories in Gandharan literary and visual cultures, and Upper Indus inscriptions and petroglyphs in Pakistan.
