PHILIPPA VAUGHAN(2018)

Philippa Vaughan is an art historian specialising in Islamic architecture and painting of the Indian Subcontinent. She curated the British Council’s flagship exhibition for the Golden Jubilee of Pakistan, is the Director Projects of The Calcutta Tercentenary Trust and has advised on the archaeology and conservation of heritage sites including the gardens at Humayun’s Tomb in Delhi. She was Director of the Royal Asiatic Society 1995-1998 and a Vice-President 1998-2001.
