Lisa Jones is the author of Broken: A Love Story, the true tale of her friendship with quadriplegic Northern Arapaho horse gentler and traditional healer Stanford Addison. She arrived at his home on the Wind River Reservation to research an article about his horse training techniques and witnessed much more than she bargained for.
