Neelima Dalmia Adhar is the author of Father Dearest: The Life and Times of R.K. Dalmia. Published in 2003, the book instantly scaled the bestseller list and Adhar was labelled a daredevil ‘family chronicler’ who had exposed some fiercely guarded secrets. Her second book, the novel Merchants of Death, established her a mistress of the genre. The Secret Diary of Kasturba is her latest and third book and is a fictional account of the life of the wife of Mahatma Gandhi, Kasturba Gandhi.
