Tae Mack

Tae Mack is a Black queer trans artist, educator, poet, and spoken word performer based in the DMV, originally from Denver. With a background in social activism, he coordinated the first Black Lives Matter Conference at the nation’s second-oldest collegiate institution in 2013. The son of a Trinidadian songwriter and poet, Mack honors his heritage and the spirit of his people through his writing. After a hiatus, he relaunched his artistic career in 2023, joining Baltimore’s MotorHouse Digital Artist Program. His upcoming poetry novel, A Story Unfolding As It’s Told, will soon be available.
