Marie Timbreza

Marie Timbreza has been contributing to creative arts communities since the late 1990s in New Orleans, Louisiana; Austin, Texas; Portland, Oregon; and, most recently, Denver/Aurora, Colorado. Her writing has included book reviews, poetry, essay, short story, and lyrics for several bands. Her inspiration comes from her own love story, stepmom journey, career in healthcare and education, profound connections, and shared passions of equity, accessibility, laughter, music, and food. Current projects are Sustenance: 50 poems + a love story and Ms. Eileen’s Kitchen, a cookbook and memoir which will be available in 2025.
