MICHEL PLEAU(2022)
Michel Pleau is from the Saint-Sauveur district in Quebec City. In 1992, he published his first collection. Since then, he has continued to learn to read and write poetry. His book La lenteur du monde received the 2008 Governor General's Award. In recognition of his career as a poet and his body of work, he was awarded the Literary Prize of the Canadian Institute of Quebec in 2015. He published Eternity Taking Its Time at BookLand Press (Toronto). In the spring of 2022, he published two collections to celebrate his 30th anniversary of publication: Le petit bestiaire at Éditions David and Une auberge où personne ne s’arrête at Écrits des Forges.
