John M. Fritz(2022)

John M. Fritz is an American archaeologist/anthropologist who is interested in the ways that architectural and settlement forms express social structure and cultural meanings. While his earlier work was focused on Native American settlements in New Mexico, he joined George Michell at Hampi from 1981-2002. With many colleagues, they created architectural drawings, photographs and maps that are now curated at the British Library. He is also associated with the UPenn Museum.
