Andrew Whitehead(2022)
Andrew Whitehead is an honorary professor at the University of Nottingham and also teaches at the Asian College of Journalism in Chennai. He is a former BBC India correspondent and continues to contribute to, among others, Quint,The Wire and the Hindu. He is the author of an oral history of the beginning of the Kashmir conflict in 1947-48 and a biography of Freda Bedi, an English woman who made her life in India, where she was a prominent leftist and nationalist.
