George Alagiah(2022)
George Alagiah is Presenter of BBC News at Six, Britain’s most-watched news programme. Before that Alagiah was one of the BBC’s leading foreign correspondents, covering famine and conflict in Somalia, genocide in Rwanda and the 9/11 terror attacks in America. He is the author of two works of non-fiction: A Passage to Africa (based on his years as a correspondent) and A Home from Home (a look at race relations in the UK). His first novel, The Burning Land, was published in 2019. He was awarded an OBE in 2008.
