Bee Rowlatt

Bee Rowlatt works in the British Library's Cultural Events team. Her award-winning travelogue In Search of Mary (2015) was a ‘biography of the year’. She co-wrote the bestseller Talking about Jane Austen in Baghdad (2010), which was dramatised by the BBC, and is one of Virago’s Fifty Shades of Feminism (2013). Her play about Mary Wollstonecraft debuted in London’s West End and she led the team that delivered Maggi Hambling's Wollstonecraft memorial (2019). She has lived and worked in India and Colombia, and chaired events around the world.
