Anne Waldman(2020)
Anne Waldman, is the author most recently of Trickster Feminism, Sanctuary, Spuyten Duyvil, and the album Sciamachy. She is the translator, with Andrew Schelling, of Songs of the Sons and Daughters of Buddha. Her epic The Iovis Trilogy: Colors in the Mechanism of Concealment won the PEN Center USA literary Award for Poetry. She has also received The Poetry Society’s Shelley Award, a Guggenheim Fellowship and a Before Columbus Foundation Award for Lifetime Achievement. Waldman is a Chancellor Emeritus of The Academy of American Poets and currently directs the Summer Writing Program at Naropa University.
