James Shapiro(2018)
James Shapiro is the Larry Miller Professor of English and Comparative Literature at Columbia University. He is the author of Shakespeare and the Jews, 1599: A Year in the Life of William Shakespeare, which was awarded the Samuel Johnson Prize for Non-fiction, and Contested Will, and, most recently, The Year of Lear: Shakespeare in 1606. He is writing a book on Shakespeare in a Divided America.
