Bee Rowlatt(2019)
Bee Rowlatt is a journalist, writer and broadcaster. Her book, In Search of Mary, on the life of possibly the world’s first known feminist, Mary Wollstonecraft, was named a ‘biography of the year’ by the Independent. She co-wrote the bestselling Talking about Jane Austen in Baghdad and features in Virago’s Fifty Shades of Feminism. Rowlatt has appeared in festivals in Russia, Bangladesh, India, Mexico, Iraq, Colombia and the UK. She began her career in BBC World Service and has written for national and international media. Rowlatt also chairs the Mary Wollstonecraft campaign.
