Ravinder Bhogal is an award-winning journalist, restaurateur, chef and broadcaster. In 2016 she opened her first restaurant, Jikoni, gaining a place in the National Restaurant Awards within six months of opening. She has twice been included in the Evening Standard Progress 1000 list as one of London's leading influencers of progress and diversity in the capital. In 2013, she won the Asian Women of Achievement Award in Association with RBS in Media. Her debut book, Cook in Boots, won the Gourmand World Cookbook Award for the UK's Best First Cookbook. Her latest book is Jikoni: Proudly Inauthentic Recipes from an Immigrant Kitchen.
