


Mona Arshi
Mona Arshi is a former human rights lawyer whose debut Small Hands won the Forward Prize for best first poetry collection. Her writing has been published in The Times, The Guardian, Granta, The Yale Review and The Times of India as well as on the London Underground. In 2020, she was appointed Honorary Professor at the University of Liverpool and was a fellow in creative arts at Trinity College, Cambridge. Her novel, Somebody Loves You, described as 'prismatically gorgeous' in The Sunday Telegraph, has appeared on the Desmond Elliot as well as the Goldsmith prize lists. Mona is co-editor of a nature anthology called Nature Matter. Her third collection of poetry, MOUTH, will be published in 2025.
