Kabir Bedi’s career spans Bollywood, Europe and Hollywood. He has starred in the American television series The Bold and the Beautiful, the James Bond film Octopussy, the Bollywood blockbuster Khoon Bhari Maang. He is best known for his Italian series Sandokan, which broke all broadcasting records in Europe. In theatre, as a Shakespearian actor, he has played Othello; Emperor Shah Jahan in John Murrell’s TAJ; and starred in The Far Pavilions in London’s West End. Kabir was bestowed Italy’s highest civilian honour ‘Cavaliere’, a Knighthood, and presented with the ‘Keys to the city of Florence’. He is a voting member at the Academy Awards.
