Brian A. Catlos is a scholar of Muslim-Christian-Jewish relations in medieval Christendom and the Islamic World, and the history of the pre-modern Mediterranean. Catlos’ books have been translated into ten languages and won major awards from the American Historical Association, the Medieval Academy of America, and the Middle East Studies Association.
