Tharik Hussain(2022)
Tharik Hussain’s book, Minarets in the Mountains, was shortlisted for the 2022 Stanford Dolman Travel Book of the Year award and longlisted for the 2021 Baillie Gifford Prize. A Fellow at the University of Groningen, Hussain has co-authored several Lonely Planet guidebooks and created Britain’s first Muslim heritage trails.
