Sunita Toor(2019)
Sunita Toor is an academic and a women’s rights activist on a mission to end violence against women and girls. She leads Justice For Her, a project committed to improving access to justice for female victims of violence in India by working with the police and the communities they serve. Her work has combined academic research, activism, advocacy, journalism and spoken word to raise awareness of gender-based violence in India and highlight the importance of working together in order to combat it.
