Roger Cohen(2023)
Roger Cohen has worked for The New York Times for 33 years as a foreign correspondent, foreign editor, columnist, and currently Paris Bureau Chief. As foreign editor, he oversaw post-9/11 international coverage in a year that The Times won seven Pulitzers. He is the author of five books, including a family memoir entitled The Girl from Human Street: A Jewish Family Odyssey and the recent An Affirming Flame: Meditations on Life and Politics. He has taught at Harvard and Princeton and been recognized with several awards, including the Overseas Press Club of America Burger Human Rights Award, and a Légion d’Honneur France.
