Preti Taneja(2023)
Preti Taneja, who is Professor of World Literature and Creative Writing at Newcastle University, UK, wrote a multi award-winning first novel We That Are Young (2017), a recasting of Shakespeare's King Lear in contemporary India. Her second book Aftermath (And Other Stories, 2022) was a New Statesman and a New Yorker Book of the Year. It is also the winner of the Gordon Burn Prize 2022.
