Malini Roy

Malini Roy is the Head of Visual Arts at the British Library and a specialist in South Asian art. She has curated several exhibitions and produced the accompanying publications including 50 x India: The 50 Most Beautiful Miniatures from the Rijksmuseum (2008), Mughal India: Art, Culture and Empire (co-authored with J.P. Losty, British Library, 2012). In 2023, she co-curated the British Library's exhibition Animals: Art, Science and Sound that was supported by the Getty Foundation's Paper Project Initiative. Malini has also contributed to William Dalrymple's exhibition catalogues for Princes and Painters in Mughal Delhi, 1707-1857 (Asia Society, 2012) and Forgotten Masters: Indian Painting for the East India Company (Wallace Collection, 2019).
