Kunal Basu is the author of 11 critically acclaimed novels including The Miniaturist, Kalkatta and In an Ideal World, as well as two collections of stories The Japanese Wife – the lead story of which was made into an award-winning film – and more recently, Filmi Stories. He lives in Oxford.
