Academic
James Caron is Lecturer in Islamicate South Asia at SOAS. His work focuses on Pashto literary production as an alternate archive on empire in Eurasia, from Babur to now. His research also focuses on plural forms of subaltern knowledge and mobility across the Hindu Kush, and has appeared in South Asian History and Culture, Tanqeed, and elsewhere.
