Mohan Ambikaipaker

Mohan Ambikaipaker is the Director of the CLASS Honors program and Associate Professor and Director of the World Cultures and Literatures program at the University of Houston. An expert on the comparative study of global racisms, he has authored Political Blackness in Multiracial Britain, exploring racial and state violence and antiracist solidarity. He is also a poet featured in Best Asian Poetry 2021-22, Portside Review, and Saaranga, and has appeared on the Emmy-nominated PBS show Blackademics and the Malaysian program Consider This.
