Sarnath Banerjee(2015)

After getting a degree in biochemistry, Sarnath Banerjee received an MA in Image and communication from Goldsmiths College. He wrote graphic novels, Corridor and Barn Owl’s Wondrous Capers, on the scandals of 18th century Calcutta and Denoel. Sarnath Banerjee runs a publishing house, Phantomville that exclusively publishes graphic novels. He has co-published The Believers and Kashmir Pending. He received the young publisher award in 2008 by the British Council. He worked on a weekly column in text and image, Enchanted Geography which explores the uncanny Berlin, the idea of cosmopolitanism and Berlin current role as a world city.
