Ruby Lal(2018)
Ruby Lal is an acclaimed historian of Mughal India. Her previous books include, Domesticity and Power in the Early Mughal World and Coming of Age in Nineteenth Century India: The Girl-Child and the Art of Playfulness. Her most recent book is a work of creative nonfiction titled, Empress: The Astonishing Reign of Nur Jahan. She teaches at Emory University.
