Maina Singh(2015)
Maina Chawla Singh is Scholar-in-Residence, American University, Washington DC. Singh teaches and researches Indian Diaspora communities. Her books include: Being Indian, Being Israeli: Migration, Ethnicity and Gender in the Jewish Homeland and Gender, Religion, and Heathen Lands: American Missionary Women in South Asia. Singh has lived in Russia, Ethiopia, Israel, Japan, France and the US. Her current project focuses on ‘Indian Americans in US Politics’.
