Laura Pritchett‘s novel Sky Bridge won the WILLA Award, and her novel Hell’s Bottom, Colorado won both the Milkweed National Fiction Prize and the PEN USA Award. Her novel Stars Go Blue is currently a finalist for a High Plains Book Award in fiction. Her latest novel Red Lightning, is set in the contemporary West and takes on issues of environmental and social justice. She also writes for High Country News, OnEarth, Salon, O Mag, and others.
