Kiran Desai(2018)
Kiran Desai was born in India in 1971 and educated in India, England, and the United States. She received the Man Booker Prize 2006 and the National Book Critics Circle Award for The Inheritance of Loss, which was also shortlisted for the Orange Prize. Hullabaloo in the Guava Orchard, her first novel, received the Betty Trask Award.
