Getting There - Manjula Padmanabhan
Manjula Padmanabhan in conversation with Jayanti Naju Seth
Over her remarkably successful career, Manjula Padmanabhan has worn three distinct hats; primarily that of a playwright, then of a highly regarded cartoonist and also as a writer of fiction. For all of these, Padmanabhan has mined her own life and society around her for material that is insightful, often acerbic, and always compelling. In conversation with academic Jayanti Naju Seth, she will discuss the creative process behind her latest collections of dramatic pieces, Blood and Laughter, Laughter and Blood, and her autobiographical venture Getting There.
