Art Matters

Jitish Kallat in conversation with Sarah Suzuki

Frequently shifting between the registers of the self, the city-street, the nation and the cosmic horizon, Jitish Kallat’s art is a speculative field of inquiry interspersed with the concept of time, sustenance, recursion and historical recall. In a conversation with the Deputy Director for Curatorial Affairs at The Museum of Modern Art, Sarah Suzuki, Kallat takes us on a journey of his creative process and his wide-ranging artistic preoccupations.
