Ashis Ray

Ashis Ray is the senior-most active cricket broadcaster as well as one of the senior-most cricket writers in the world. He has the distinction of describing India's famous victory in the 1983 World Cup at Lord's ball-by-ball on BBC. He is the maker of two internationally acclaimed documentaries, Great Moments of Indian Cricket 1931-86 and 1983: India’s World Cup. His latest book is Cricket World Cup: The Indian Challenge, a history of the tournament from an Indian perspective.
