Writer & Storyteller
Vayu Naidu is a performance storyteller, theatre director and novelist. Her re-tellings transport the listener with wisdom challenged by wit; her novels inhabit the experience of migrations past and present. Sita’s Ascent was nominated for the Commonwealth Book Award, The Sari of Surya Vilas, published earlier this year, was launched at Presidency University Bicentennial, Kolkata and the ZEE Jaipur Literature Festival, and is selected to appear at Australia’s Byron Writers Festival and Mountain Echoes Festival in Bhutan.
