John Elliott is a former Financial Times journalist whose prize-winning book IMPLOSION: India’s Tryst with Reality has been published as a paperback and e-book. He has lived in India for the past 25 years and writes a blog on South Asia current affairs called ‘Riding the Elephant’ that also appears on the website of Asia Sentinel (Hong Kong). He has also written for The Economist, the New Statesman and Fortune magazine.
