Kalyan Ray(2015)
Kalyan Ray’s family was uprooted from the Ganges Delta (now Bangladesh) through a combination of political upheavals and natural disasters. He was born and grew up in Calcutta. Educated in India and the US, he has taught on three continents. He is the author of the novels Eastwords and No Countryand is currently completing his third novel, A Rain of Stones. He lives now in India.
