Wendy Were is Executive Director, Strategic Development and Advocacy at the Australia Council for the Arts. Dr. Were has extensive and wide-ranging experience in arts management and curation and business development. She has previously held the roles of Artistic Director and Chief Executive of Sydney Writers’ Festival, Programme Producer at the Perth International Arts Festival, CEO of West Australian Music and Business Advisor with the Creative Industries Innovation Centre.
