Tammy Lai-Ming Ho(2018)

Tammy Ho Lai-Ming is the founding co-editor of the Hong Kong-based online literary publication Cha: An Asian Literary Journal, the first English editor of Voice & Verse Poetry Magazine and an editor of the academic journals Victorian Network and Hong Kong Studies. She has also edited/co-edited several poetry anthologies, including Desde Hong Kong: Poets in Conversation with Octavio Paz, Quixotica: Poems East of La Mancha and Twin Cities: An Anthology of Twin Cinema from Singapore and Hong Kong. Her translations have appeared in World Literature Today, Chinese Literature Today, Drunken Boat and Pathlight, among other places. She is an Associate Professor at Hong Kong Baptist University, where she teaches poetics, fiction and modern drama. Her first poetry collection is Hula Hooping and she has creative and academic books forthcoming. She is the recipient of a Young Artist Award in Literary Arts presented by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council, the Vice President of PEN Hong Kong and a Junior Fellow of the Hong Kong Academy of the Humanities.
